Dr Guiney is a consultant radiologist.
Dr Guiney completed his basic radiology training in the Adelaide and Meath and St James鈥檚 Hospitals, Dublin. Having completed fellowships in both interventional radiology and cross sectional imaging in Boston and Harvard University Hospitals, he then took up a consultant post in University College Hospital, London for two years and in Cork University Hospital for a further two years.
Dr Guiney鈥檚 areas of interest include all aspects of interventional radiology in particular onco-radiology, ablative therapy and targeted embolotherapy. He is also interested in vascular imaging, cardiac CT and CT colonography.
